If that’s also true about bands, then we really should sit up and take notice of Sal Vitro. Since not only have they recently toured with Thin Lizzy on their farewell tour, but have opened for the likes of Status Quo, Richie Sambora and Jeff Beck.

Originally hailing from Dublin, the band consists of Josh Dunford (lead vocals/guitar), Owie Lumsden (lead guitar/backing vocals), Rourke Bradley (bass/backing vocals) and John Cuddy (drums/backing vocals).

Their debut album, ‘Cirque Du Sleaze’ is a collection of no nonsense good time rock ‘n’ roll songs which have just the right bluesy and funk influences woven into the mix. The album is described as being “a celebration of rock ’n’ roll’s excessive pleasures and the road to ultimate redemption – thrilling without ever losing its soul. So buckle up and enjoy the spectacle – Sal Vitro have all the tricks to seduce you into their circus until you’re swinging from the Big Top”.

Cirque Du Sleaze is available on iTunes.

No word on a tour as yet, but we’ll keep you posted. Fingers crossed it won’t be long!
