Black Star Riders New Album Trailer

BSR01

Ricky Warwick

Black Star Riders have followed the announcement of their third album Heavy Fire by releasing a video trailer. In it, frontman Ricky Warwick describes the writing process behind the new album – due to be released in February – and looks forward to taking the new material on the road on their UK tour in March.

2016 saw the band return to the studio with The Killer Instinct’s producer Nick Raskulinecz, at his studio just outside Nashville. The resultant album promises instant hooks, big riffs and the trademark twin guitars of Gorham and Johnson throughout. The band believe it’s their most accomplished work to date and are confident that it will further cement their reputation as one of the worlds premiere rock acts.

“Angst, passion, power, glory, love, truth, lies, loyalty, questions that begged to be answered. There’s a guitar army coming and it’s bringing the Heavy Fire” Ricky Warwick

BSR hit the road in March on a 16 date UK tour. Joined by Glasgow rockers GUN (who co-headline the two Glasgow shows), this promises to be an absolutely phenomenal tour. Both bands are tremendous live performers and both will have new material to show off. We’ll bring you a preview on the tour in the coming weeks and hope to review Heavy Fire prior to it’s release. But in the meantime check out the video trailer below.
