It’s Official: Party at The Palace RULES!

John Richardson and (right) PATP Co-Director Peter Ferguson

McEwan’s Party at The Palace was crowned Best Outdoor Festival 2016 at The Scottish Outdoor & Leisure Awards at Glasgow’s Marriott Hotel on Sunday night. And decibelROGUE couldn’t be happier for John Richardson and his team.

Since launching in 2014, PATP has quickly established itself  – as this award confirms – as one of THE live music events of the year. This years festival, which was by far the most successful PATP to date, attracted over 15,000 music fans to Linlithgow. And when you consider that PATP coincided with the Edinburgh Festival in the East and the Glasgow Summer Sessions in the West, that’s no mean feat!

“It was great to be recognised for the effort that the whole team has put in. We’re excited and determined to continue to develop and improve all the time and we’re looking forward to seeing what 2017 will bring.” John Richardson, Director, Party At The Palace

“Thank you so much to everyone who voted for us and to those who have supported us from day one. It really is an honour to see our hard work paying off. Not just for us, but for everyone who works tirelessly behind the scenes to help us deliver a great event.” Peter Ferguson, Co-Director, Party At The Palace

Party at The Palace RULES!

Each year I walk out of the arena at the end of the festival wondering how they could possibly top what I’ve just seen for the following year. And each year (somehow!) John and his team have gone on to do exactly that. Early bird tickets are on sale now for PATP ’17, although the lineup is yet to be announced. But do you know what? Follow the link below and buy them now anyway. Because you can be assured that the lineup will once again be stellar, and you really don’t want to miss out on 2017’s party of the summer!

We’ll bring you more PATP lineup news as soon as it becomes available.

In the meantime, Party at The Palace, decibelROGUE salutes you!
