Marco Mendoza Solo UK Tour Preview

If you’re a regular visitor to decibelROGUE then you’ll know that The Dead Daisies are one of our favourite rock bands on the planet right now. You never have to ask us twice whether we’d like to go see them live, and their shows are always amongst our music performance highlights of the year.

Since it’s only been around 3 months since The Dead Daisies rolled into Glasgow on their Make Some Noise tour, it’ll be a while before we have the opportunity to see them in this neck of the woods again.  Thankfully though, the band’s bassist, Marco Mendoza is heading back to the UK for a solo tour. This’ll keep us going in the meantime!

Mendoza’s previous solo performances have tended to be nights when he’s taken the audience on a journey through the music which has influenced his career. So in addition to his own material, he’s performed songs by artists as diverse as Thin Lizzy, Neil Schon, Ted Nugent and Billie Holliday.

As good as Mendoza is though, he can’t do absolutely everything himself. So on this tour he’s bringing along guitarist Fabio Cerrone and drummer Pino Liberti.

It’s not often you get the opportunity to see a musician that has played in bands the calibre of Whitesnake and Thin Lizzy perform at such close quarters.
