Shadow Hunters Release New Single ‘Into Tomorrow’s Yesterday’

Music genres. Just when you think you’ve got your head around them all, along comes another one demanding your attention. For someone like myself who grew up in a time when the lines between genres were clearly defined, it can take a bit of time to get my head around it all. The world was a much simpler place when you could categorise music as either Rock, Punk, Mod, Pop, and ‘that’s a little Val Doonican’ for everything else.

But don’t that fool you into believing that I’m some kinda old fart who thinks everything was better years ago. Progress is most definitely a good thing. And with that in mind, today Ladies and Gentlemen, I give you Norwegian Sci-Fi Rock!

Shadow Hunters, a duo consisting of Ingar LH (drums) and Will S (guitar/vocals) have just premiered their latest single ‘Into Tomorrow’s Yesterday’ with Kerrang! and the song provides a taster of what we can expect from their debut album.

When you think what sci-fi rock music might sound like, you’d probably expect to hear things like huge orchestral synth arrangements, aggressive guitar riffs and anthemic vocals. ‘Into Tomorrow’s Yesterday’ certainly has lots of those and while there is an undoubted Goth Rock vibe to the song, it certainly feels new and original.
