Evil Scarecrow ‘Rock You Like A Hurricanado’ Tour

“…break out the tin foil, raise your krabbenklauen high and prepare for the stupidest band to have ever hitchhiked to a festival.”
If you’ve found yourself at festivals such as Download and Bloodstock over the last few years, there’s a good chance you’ve robototroned, crabuloned and hurricanadoed along with Evil Scarecrow, the finest metal band from Nottingham to have ever written a song about a robot. Probably!
Fronted by Dr. Rabid Hell, Evil Scarecrow combine kick-ass metal music with humour and plenty of audience participation. Their live shows are quickly becoming the stuff of legend – you should check out their performance of Crabulon at Bloodstock 2014 for a taster. It’s unlike anything you’ve seen before. Definitely!
The band have also announced that they will be appearing at Wacken this year. “We’re so freakishly excited to be bringing our show to the legendary Wacken Festival in 2017. In fact, I am not entirely sure that it has sunk in! Every good metal human knows that Wacken is a global metal institution and the opportunity to play such a historic festival is beyond an honour for us. We will be dragging our full stage show across the English Channel and through Europe in a variety of questionable quality white vans. So, if you see some broken down tour buses on the Autobahn unloading a giant space robot and thumbing a lift, then beep your horn and give us a wave (or a lift would be even better). We’ll also be bringing our terrible pigeon German and learning the words for “crab”, “anti-gravity machine” and “eggs”. – Dr. Hell
So, decibelROGUE will be scuttling along to the Cathouse Glasgow on 26 January to bring you a full review and gallery. But check out the dates for yourself and experience the full force of a Hurricanado in person!
