Cast Embark on UK Tour

Cast1

Cast

For an all too short period during the second half of the nineties, Cast vied for Britpop supremacy with the likes of Suede, Oasis, Pulp and Blur. And although the Britpop movement slowed and died before the turn of the millennium, Cast had already secured legendary status with phenomenal albums such as All Change and Mother Nature Calls.

After almost nine years in hiatus, Cast reunited to release Troubled Times in 2012 and are currently working on another album due for release in October. The band also recently announced their involvement in Musicians Against Homelessness, launched last month by former Oasis manager Alan McGee, with a gig in September to raise cash for homeless charity Crisis.

Before all that however, we have a tour to enjoy! Kicking off this very evening at the Liquid Rooms in Edinburgh, John Power (guitar/vocals), Liam ‘Skin’ Tyson (lead guitar), Keith O’Neill (drums) and Jay Lewis (bass) are heading around the UK on a 12 date tour. Cast are an awesome live band, so check out the tour dates below and head to one of their gigs if you can. It might just be a religious experience!
