The Quireboys Fully Plugged UK Tour

If you read our review of Twisted Love back in September, then you’ll know that in addition to being The Quireboys‘ best release in over a decade, we reckon it’s one of their best albums they’ve ever recorded. And now everyone’s favourite rock ‘n’ roll reprobates are taking their new material on the road to do what they do best: blowing roofs of venues with no-nonsense live rock shows.

Twisted Love is The Quireboys’ 10th studio album and it’s the sound of a band clearly enjoying a creative rebirth. “We made this record with a full-on rock and roll show in mind. The songs are some of the strongest we’ve ever written and that comes across best when all six of us are on stage and the volume is turned up.” – Guy Griffin

We caught The Quireboys during their unplugged tour back in December and they were absolutely tremendous. But as good as these intimate shows always are, it’s when they hit the stage with a full band that they are at their very best.

Not since the band’s early 90s heyday have The Quireboys sounded so compelling and so relevant. This is a band going back to the future and back to what they always did best.
